Engineering
The department is consisting of Civil, Mechanical and Refrigeration departments and presently headed by Engineering-In-Chief (Mechanical) Maksud Alam. Civil engineering Department is headed by Rabindranath Bandopadhyay ,Engineering-In-Chief (Civil) and assisted by six Junior Engineers. The department is providing consultancy services for construction of Cold Storages in and outside the State. Engineering department also responsible for providing consultancy services for construction of Jute Complexes, Buffer godowns, Rural Godowns, Rice Mills under different schemes of NCDC and State Government in the cooperative sector.
